Avantus is pleased to announce that BALtrans Group (“BALtrans”), a multi-national freight forwarding and logistics company headquartered in Hong Kong, has acquired Gothenburg Shipping Logistics AB (“GSL”).

As part of its ongoing expansion of business in Europe and USA, BALtrans appointed M&A International Inc.’s Hong Kong-based member Quam Capital Limited to assist in sourcing suitable acquisition targets. Quam Capital Limited contacted Avantus Corporate Finance, who approached the owner of GSL, a major player in the freight forwarding and transportation industry in Sweden. Avantus and Quam thereafter jointly advised BALtrans to a successful closing.
