Avantus is pleased to announce that C.B. Fleet has successfully sold its Italian subsidiary Bergamon. Following a successful acquisition in Sweden in 2004 carried-out by the assistance of Avantus, we assisted C.B. Fleet in its disposal of Bergamon, a non-core Italian subsidiary, being a producer of branded intimate hygiene products.

C.B. Fleet is a leading global producer of innovative personal health beauty care products, present in a number of countries around the world.

Arietti & Partners, the Italian M&A International Inc. partner, and Avantus carried-out a structured sale process and made contact, among others, with Omega Pharma, a highly acquisitive Belgium based multinational, active in the prescription-free medicines and healthcare products. Omega Pharma was the highest bidder and following negotiations, the deal closed on 24tth of October.
