Avantus is pleased to announce that the privately owned Swood AB has sold its wholly owned subsidiary Silvandersson Sweden AB to Venteco Plc, a company quoted on the AIM list of London stock exchange. Avantus was the sole financial advisor to Swood.

Silvandersson Sweden was established in 1982 by the Silvandersson family and is run by managing director Kenneth Silvandersson and production officer Kjell Silvandersson. The company is active in the non-toxic pest control industry. The use of non-toxic products for controlling insects is a rapidly growing market. European consumers are becoming increasingly aware of food quality and are concerned about the residuals of insecticides in foodstuffs.
