Avantus Corporate Finance is pleased to announce that its client Unilever Sverige has successfully disposed of Opus Health Care AB to Segulah.

Opus Health Care is a leading provider of products with strong brands and leading market positions within disinfection (DAX), oral care (Zendium) and cleaning (Neutral). Opus targets the professional market and its key customers comprise wholesalers and distributors, hospitals and pharmacies.

Avantus was engaged as advisor to manage the process when Unilever wanted to explore new ownership options for Opus and the sales process that subsequently followed. The key rationale behind the divestment decision was Opus’ different strategic focus compared with Unilever’s.
